I recently had a sewer scope done on my new home, and I couldn’t be happier with the service! We had some complicated pipes, but the team went above and beyond to make sure everything was inspected thoroughly. They explained everything clearly, provided helpful suggestions, and gave me the peace of mind I needed during the home-buying process. On top of that, they were super friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone purchasing a home!

I was told that I had a complicated sewer repair/replacement at my home. After contacting several contractors with either no call backs or outrageous prices I contacted Sewer Kings. the gentleman Mark came out to my home the same day and explained the issue he found and the best way to correct the problem/old root bound system. He gave me a very good quote much lower than I got from others. He and his crew showed up the next day, early I might add which is unheard if these days and replaced the whole system connected, removing any issues, very respectful of my landscaping, neat, and very professional. I didn’t have to do any cleaning after they left. Mark and his crew did an outstanding job and we couldn’t be happier with the work they did. Glad to write a positive review for Sewer Kings

In Evesham, septic float switches control pump activation and prevent system failures. A malfunctioning switch can lead to sewage backups in your home or yard. This page covers float switch diagnosis, repair options, and emergency troubleshooting. The Sewer Kings provides local drainage service for homes in Marlton Lakes, Kettle Run, and throughout Evesham. Contact us to prevent sewage backups and costly system damage.

Warning Signs Your Septic Float Switch Needs Immediate Repair

Evesham homeowners notice alarm beeping, sewage odors near the tank, or toilets draining slowly. These symptoms point to float switch problems that need attention. Early detection prevents sewage backups into basements and landscaped yards. Clay soil common in Evesham requires functioning switches to prevent oversaturation during spring thaw. Water has nowhere to go when your drain field becomes waterlogged. Our septic system service addresses these issues before they cause property damage.

How Drainage Professionals Test and Repair Stuck Float Switches

Septic float switch repair

We serve homes near Route 70 with multimeter testing and manual float activation. Our technicians remove your tank lid and lift the float by hand to check pump response. Repair involves cleaning debris from the switch mechanism or replacing corroded components. New Jersey electrical codes require licensed work on septic pump circuits. You get safe repairs that meet local inspection standards. When the float switch can’t be repaired, septic pump replacement may be necessary to restore system function.

Septic Alarm Activation When Tank Levels Appear Normal

Faulty wiring or sensor malfunctions trigger alarms even when Evesham septic tanks aren’t full. This frustrates homeowners who check the tank and see normal water levels. We check control panel connections and float switch electrical continuity. Older systems in Sagemore may need switch housing replacement due to age. Corroded terminals create false readings that sound your alarm unnecessarily. Professional septic alarm installation ensures accurate monitoring of tank levels.

Types of Float Switches Used in Burlington County Septic Systems

Tethered switches swing freely while vertical switches slide on guide rods. Each design works differently but achieves the same goal. Evesham installations typically use tethered models for ease of replacement. Switch type must match pump voltage and GPM capacity for proper operation. Installing the wrong switch causes pump cycling problems or complete system failure. Understanding how to choose the right float switch helps you make informed decisions about your septic system components.

Professional vs DIY Float Switch Repairs - Safety Considerations

Sewage exposure and 240-volt electrical hazards require protective equipment and training. You risk serious illness from contact with untreated waste. Evesham permits may be needed for electrical work on septic components. Licensed drainage contractors carry liability coverage for underground utility work. We handle the health risks so you don’t have to. Complex electrical issues may require septic control panel installation to meet current code standards.

Preventing Future Float Switch Failures Through Proper Maintenance

Annual inspections in Evesham catch debris accumulation before switches jam. We perform pump cycling tests to verify proper on-off activation at correct water levels. Regular checks extend the life of your float switch and pump. Winter freeze-thaw cycles stress float mechanisms in properties near Kettle Run. Proactive maintenance costs less than emergency repairs and system replacement.
